Nude Photos, Explicit Video Calls, Unauthorized Medication and More: Inside Mackenzie Shirilla's Prison Disciplinary File
What exactly has Mackenzie Shirilla been getting written up for while behind bars? Newly obtained disciplinary records reveal allegations involving nude magazine photos, unauthorized medication, explicit video calls, stolen property, contraband, and more.
What Is Actually In Mackenzie Shirilla's Prison File?
Most people assume prison disciplinary reports involve routine rule violations.
However, newly obtained records from the Ohio Reformatory for Women paint a much more unusual picture.
Over dozens of pages, prison officials documented allegations involving nude photographs, unauthorized medication, explicit video visits, alleged stolen property, altered clothing, contraband, and even allegations of sexual contact.
Some findings were upheld. Others were modified or overturned after review.
But together, the records provide one of the most detailed looks yet at Mackenzie Shirilla's conduct while incarcerated.
The Nude Magazine Photos
One October 2024 disciplinary report stemmed from a random search of Shirilla's property.
According to the report, officers discovered altered state-issued pants, a fan that allegedly belonged to another incarcerated person, and four nude magazine photographs.
The report resulted in charges involving possession of another incarcerated person's property and possession of contraband.
At her hearing, Shirilla admitted possessing the fan and pants. Officials ultimately found her guilty and imposed a 30-day commissary restriction.
The Drug-Related Photo And Unauthorized Medication
A January 2025 search resulted in one of the more surprising allegations found in the disciplinary file.
According to the report, officers discovered medication prescribed to another individual.
The report further states that Shirilla admitted using the medication even though it had not been prescribed to her.
Officials also documented what they described as a personal photograph containing drug use.
Shirilla later claimed the pills were prenatal vitamins she obtained from another incarcerated person.
Prison officials rejected that explanation and found her guilty of misuse of authorized medication and possession of contraband.
The Visitor Who Wasn't Supposed To Be There
Another disciplinary report focused on video visitation.
According to prison officials, Shirilla participated in video visits with a person who was not listed as an approved visitor.
The report alleges the individual was using someone else's approved account to conduct the visits.
Officials noted that more than 100 video visits had already occurred before the issue was discovered.
The visitor was later blocked from the system and disciplinary charges were filed against Shirilla.
The Explicit Video Call Investigation
Perhaps the most shocking report in the file involved a separate video visitation investigation.
According to prison officials, multiple inappropriate acts allegedly occurred during several video visits connected to Shirilla's account.
The report alleges the visitor exposed their breasts, displayed a sex toy, appeared partially unclothed during portions of the calls, and at one point appeared completely undressed on camera.
Officials documented seven separate video visits as part of the investigation.
Shirilla ultimately received a 60-day video visitation restriction.
The Clothing Incident That Led To A Sexual Harassment Allegation
One April 2025 incident resulted in a disciplinary report that later drew significant attention.
According to the report, staff members believed Shirilla was wearing altered clothing and was not properly dressed while inside a staff office.
The report states that when staff raised concerns about her clothing, Shirilla allegedly responded, "If he got a boner from the way I'm dressed that's his fault."
Officials further alleged that her state-issued shirt was completely unbuttoned and that she was wearing only a sports bra underneath.
The incident initially resulted in a sexual harassment allegation.
However, during administrative review, prison officials later determined there was insufficient evidence to support the intent element required for that charge.
The sexual harassment finding was modified to not guilty, although other violations remained in place.
The Alleged Sexual Contact Incident
Another report involved allegations of consensual sexual contact between incarcerated persons.
According to the disciplinary report, a correctional officer observed another incarcerated person removing their hand from Shirilla's buttocks area.
Shirilla denied the allegation and maintained that she did not permit anyone to touch her.
The matter was referred to the Rules Infraction Board.
Following review, officials found her guilty and imposed disciplinary sanctions.
The Massive Contraband And Alleged Stolen Property Search
One of the largest reports in the file documented a lengthy inventory of items allegedly discovered during a search.
According to prison officials, the property included homemade jewelry, homemade bags, altered clothing, paint supplies, glitter, fake eyelashes, homemade bedding items, containers of pills, notes documenting trades, and numerous other items.
The report also alleged that some items originated from Kindware and other institutional areas.
Officials ultimately concluded that Shirilla possessed improperly obtained property and imposed both package and commissary restrictions.
A Pattern Emerges
Viewed individually, some incidents may appear minor.
Viewed together, the records reveal repeated allegations involving contraband, unauthorized property, medication violations, visitation violations, institutional misconduct, and disciplinary sanctions.
Not every allegation resulted in a guilty finding.
However, the disciplinary file demonstrates that Shirilla's incarceration has involved significantly more than routine prison rule enforcement.
